Generation After. Polish Performing Arts Showcase

Understanding the challenges we all face, and in order to prevent a rapid spread of the coronavirus, we are postponing the Generation After 4 Showcase to September 16-18th, 2020. Together with our partner institutions we are working hard on keeping the programme as planned, making it just a little bit later, so please: save the date and come to Warsaw in September. The fourth edition of our Polish Performing Arts Showcase involves 14 performances, shows and installations staged over three incredibly intensive days – featuring the newest developments taking place on Polish theatrical stages, involving representatives and programmers of the most important festivals and theatrical institutions from Europe, Asia and America. A new school of thinking, radical approaches and personal statements.

Times are becoming ever more unsettled, more questions arising, while answers – are ever more chaotic. What's new, what's next? We're all feeling the need for change – for many changes yet. But need in itself does not generate any sort of new order. Hence, this coming year, we are looking not just for new methods of creating, new sources and re-evaluated paradigms – marking out territories
of change. We are looking more closely at that which is known, seeing within it opportunities and limitations. Peeking inside the minds of the most radical artists working in new Polish theatre today.
