Privacy Policy

INFORMATION RELATING TO PERSONAL DATA HANDLING BY NOWY TEATR, BASED IN WARSAW, RELATED TO USE OF NOWY TEATR'S NEWSLETTER:

As per art. 13 act 1-2 ofThe General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) of the EU law on data protection and privacy for all individual citizens of the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) and Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (now known as RODO) we inform you that: 

  1. Nowy Teatr is the administrator for your personal data, based in Warsaw, ul. Madalińskiego 10/16, 02-513 Warszawa, registered with the city authorities as no. RIA 113/85 (further known as: Teatr).

  2. Pawel Kamionka is the Nowy Teatr Inspector for the Protection of Personal Data, e-mail: iodo@nowyteatr.org.

  3. The person making use of the Nowy Teatr Newsletter is obliged to provide an email address. Providing one's email address is voluntary, although choosing not to do so means one cannot receive the Newsletter. 

  4. Nowy Teatr will handle the data based on article 6 of statute 1 lit. a) RODO for information, promotional and advertising purposes connected with the Teatr's activities, in line with the rules outlined in art. 5 RODO.

  5. Personal data can also be shared with third parties, meaning those not members of the EEA, especially the United States which is where Google LLC is based. Protection in line with legislation in place in Poland, and also complaints processes related to the protection of personal data can as a result be complicated or made impossible. 

  6. Personal data will be processed during the period a given person is using the Nowy Teatr Newsletter.   

In line with RODO, you retain the right to: 

  • - access data and request copies of it;
  • - clarify (correct) data;
  • - demand removal, limitation or submit complaints regarding its use;
  • - raise complaints with supervisory bodies.

You can make use of these rights by contacting the Nowy Teatr Inspector for the Protection of Personal Data. 

  1. At any time, you have the right to withdraw your permission, but such withdrawal does not affect the legality of usage which was carried out in line with the law prior to it being withdrawn. 

COOKIES POLICY:

  1. Cookies –  these bits of data, especially containing text, are kept in the end user's own hardware by the Service User, and are used to aid in the way the Service webpages operate. Cookies tend to contain the name of the webpage they come from, the time they are kept in the end user's hardware and a unique number. 

  2. Service uses cookie type files. 

  3. During the period a User is accessing our service, the system sends the User's computer at least one Cookies file, in order to identify the browser type. The server automatically registers information sent by the User's browser during the online session. Server records might contain data such as online requests, address IP, type and language of the browser, date and hour request sent. This data allows our to improve our services by identifying and storing User preferences, as well as following trends involving use of our website. 

  4. Users can deny use of cookies, thereby remaining anonymous by switching them off in their browser, though not allowing cookie file registration. The service will not be able to identify the User nor their preferences. 

  5. The Service informs Users that services offered through the Service are via a public Internet network. As a result, the Service draws Users' attention to the fact that using the Service can result in increased risk of third person interference in data transfer via the Internet between the Service and User. 

  6. Cookie files are used for: 

  • -adjusting online page content of our Service to User preferences and optimising online usage. 
  • -creating statistics, with the aim of establishing the way in which Service Users use online pages

  • -necessary cookie files, allowing the Service to be used to its full 
  • -the Service informs that cookie use restrictions can influence some functions accessible via the Service web pages 
  • -cookie files are stored on the User's own device and can be used by advertisers and partners working with the Service
