Bartosz Gelner

Bartosz Gelner was born in Katowice on April 25, 1988. After graduating from the Ludwik Solski State Drama School in Kraków, he appeared in Sala Samobójców (Suicide Room), a full feature film directed by Jan Komasa, which brought him conisderable recognition. In 2013, for his role in Tomasz Wasilewski's Płynące Wieżowce (Floating Skyscrapers), he received the Piotr Łazarkiewicz Award for Young Talent at the Polish Film Festival in Los Angeles.
In 2013, he received an award from the ZASP Theatre Critics Section for his performance in Krzysztof Warlikowski's Warsaw Cabaret, his debut as a member of the Nowy Teatr ensemble.
