Markus Öhrn (1972) – visual artist and director. His works, presented at the most important festivals in Avignon, Vienna, Brussels and Berlin, spark controversy and heated debate about the limits of contemporary theater. In the presented triptych, Öhrn deals with the toxicity of the traditional European family model (which he describes as 'white and nuclear') and its inherent violence. In a remarkable ten-hour long marathon, the director takes the viewer to Fritzl's dungeon and to the distant African continent, to return for the celebration of life and the ultimate destruction of the nuclear family.
