WOBEC | Ewa Maria Śmigielska

CONSULTING: Grzegorz Kowalski
MUSIC CONSULTING, COMPOSER: Wojtek Blecharz
SOUND ENGINEERING: Robert Migas
VOICE: Barbara Kinga Majewska
PERFORMER: Karol Tymiński

Ewa Maria Śmigielska deals with space and how it can be influenced by art. She tries to create a space in which people function in such a way that their actions impose a certain shape in space, changing the space depending on their expression, emotional states, and finally conduct a meaningful dialogue in it. The conclusions from the observations are redefined and incorporated into her projects, and enriched with sound. WOBEC has a character of an intermedia show/opera combining elements of performance and the spatial sound and video installations.

Subsidised by the National Centre for Culture under the programme Kultura – Interwencje 2018.
