Krystian Lupa’s house in Cracow is like a treasury full of memories enchanted in every object, every drawing on the wall. During two weeks in July, the director was recording a diary. Different facets of everyday life are mixed up in this video: fear of the pandemic and meticulous actions preventing the spread of the virus, bizarre suspension in pondering about Poland in between the first and second round of the presidential election, as well as out-of -time life in a house populated not only by humans, but also their stories, experiences and anecdotes. Seeing the everyday surroundings of the great artist fulfills voyeuristic needs and paints an interesting and extremely intimate portrait of an artist.
