Bob Fosse's film is one of the most feted musicals in cinema history. Young foreigners: a teacher and a cabaret star meet while lodging together in pre-War Berlin. Timeless songs and a classic performance by Liza Minelli set at a time when the Weimar Republic was slowly sliding into the abyss of fascist ideology. The film was awarded eight Oscars, and is considered to be one of the most remarkable achievements in this genre of film making.
Series is a part of the Antifascist Year.
