Michel Houellebecq’s ’Possibility of an Island’ surprisingly interacts with

’The Diaries’ of probably the greatest dancer in history -Wazlaw Nijinski.

Both touch a basic subject in different times and in different ways ––

the divinity in human being. Daniel25 and Marie23, the last generation

of clones in Houellebecq’s novel, as well as Nijinski, communicate their message, adressing it to someone somewhere out there, Islands, with the strong need to connect. Daniel and Marie find each other on internet, while the outside world is being devastated.

Six and a half weeks before he enters the mental institution,

Nijinski writes furiously about the God inside of him.

This is the time for the dance with existance...

Renate Jett touches some issues important to her in this times of the world, since we are exposed to events affecting the earth and all of us.

The project is a research about relation. To the other, the self, the planet, the kosmos, as well as to the source from which our souls emerge.
