Nowy Teatr in Warsaw and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute invite theatre-makers, choreographers, and performance artists to submit project proposals for future development and production.

We are looking for concepts for new theatre, choreography, and performance projects that are currently at the concept or early development stage and are seeking partners, production opportunities, co-producers, and sources of funding.

Selected applicants will be invited to take part in a professional workshop dedicated to preparing an effective pitching presentation.

Following the workshop, up to six projects will be selected for public presentation during the pitching session held as part of Generation After Showcase 2026, taking place in Warsaw from 3–5 September 2026.

The projects will be presented to an international audience of curators, producers, festival professionals, and representatives of performing arts institutions from across Europe and beyond.

Timeline

5 July 2026 – application deadline

August 2026 – pitching workshop for selected participants (the date will be arranged in consultation with participants)

September 2026 – pitching session during Generation After Showcase 2026

Generation After Showcase is a platform organised by Nowy Teatr that presents the most exciting new developments in Polish theatre, choreography, and performance. Each year, the showcase brings together an international network of curators, producers, festival professionals, and representatives of cultural institutions interested in collaborating with Polish artists.
